Jennifer and I crossed paths back in high school, thanks to an unexpected connection on Myspace! Our journey together began in 2006, and in 2015, we took the plunge into marriage. The real adventure started unfolding when we welcomed our first child, iyla, into the world in 2018, promptly embracing the typical parental instinct to document every precious moment with countless photos and videos.

However, amidst the joy of these cherished memories, we soon found ourselves grappling with the challenge of organization. Our phones and hard drives were brimming with priceless snapshots, yet they were scattered and difficult to access. As time flew by with the arrival of our second child, we realized the importance of preserving and sharing these moments effectively.

Driven by our desire to capture our family's journey and share it with loved ones, regardless of distance, we embarked on a new adventure: "Czech in with the Gskis," our YouTube channel. The name itself reflects our roots, nodding to the Czech origin of our family name and my high school nickname, a playful abbreviation of "Gski."

Through our channel, we aim to encapsulate our adventures, lessons learned, and memorable moments, allowing our extended family and friends to stay connected with our lives. Join us as we navigate through parenthood, laughter, and everything in between on "Czech in with the Gskis."
